Quebec towns top Canadian list of best places to raise a family

The 2018 MoneySense list of the best places to live in Canada for families, places six out of the top 10 picks in Quebec. This is the second year in a row that Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville has been named the best place to live for families.

Points were awarded to cities with a large percentage of the population under the age of 15 and a large percentage of families with children. The importance of a low crime rate was also increased and the category of access to and cost of childcare was added.  Other considerations included unemployment rates, cost of housing, and amenities.
