Urgent Recall For Dog Food Containing Dangerous Levels Of Vitamin D
The U.S. food and drug administration (FDA), has recalled eight dog food brands, one of the brands is sold in Canada. These brands contain as much as 70 times the appropriate level of vitamin D.
The eight brands are; Ahold Delhaize, ANF, ELM Pet Foods, Kroger, Natural Life Pet Products, Nutrisca, Orlando brand, and Sunshine Mills.
Sunshine Mills sells their dog food products in Canada, under the following labels, Evolve Chicken and Rice Puppy Dry Dog Food, Sportsman’s Pride Large Breed Puppy Dry Dog Food and
Triumph Chicken and Rice Recipe Dry Dog Food.
