New study ranks Canada 6th safest holiday destination, Iceland tops the list
A United Kingdom study of 20 selected holiday destinations by Which? Travel, placed Canada in sixth place, as one of the safest countries in the world. First place went to Iceland, which recorded only six homicides since 2000 and 20th place went to South Africa.

The study also evaluated the risk of natural disaster, Canada again placed sixth with Barbados first and Japan 20th.
